Northampton and Milton Keynes are the best bases for hotel variety. Towcester (just 5 miles from the circuit) is closest for a proper local experience. Book at least 6 months in advance — the surrounding area completely sells out.
Getting to Silverstone Circuit
Official shuttle buses run from Northampton, Milton Keynes, and Coventry. Driving is possible — the circuit has significant parking — but traffic on race day can mean 2–3 hour queues. The train to Milton Keynes Central with a connecting coach is often fastest.

- ✓ Check Thursday–Monday. We recommend arriving Thursday to avoid rush-day travel, and staying until Monday morning to avoid post-race traffic.
