Monaco itself is very expensive — Nice (30 min by train) is the smart budget play. Menton, Cannes, and Antibes are also well-connected. If money is no object, Monte Carlo is unforgettable.
Getting to Circuit de Monaco
Train from Nice to Monaco takes 20–30 minutes and runs frequently. From Monaco station, the circuit is a short walk. During race weekend, driving is essentially impossible.
Booking tips for Monaco GP
- ✓ Book as early as possible. Race weekend accommodation near popular circuits sells out months in advance. The earlier you book, the better your selection and price.
- ✓ Check Thursday–Monday. We recommend arriving Thursday to avoid rush-day travel, and staying until Monday morning to avoid post-race traffic.
