Downtown Austin and the South Congress district are well-connected and give you the full Austin experience. East Austin is also popular. The circuit is about 10 miles southeast of downtown.
Getting to Circuit of the Americas
Official shuttles run from downtown Austin and the Convention Center. Uber/Lyft work well. The circuit has parking but traffic on race day is significant.
Booking tips for US GP
- ✓ Book as early as possible. Race weekend accommodation near popular circuits sells out months in advance. The earlier you book, the better your selection and price.
- ✓ Check Thursday–Monday. We recommend arriving Thursday to avoid rush-day travel, and staying until Monday morning to avoid post-race traffic.
